The Expendables 2

The Expendables 2
Studios:Lionsgate, Millennium Films
Director:Simon West
Cast:Jason Statham, Jet Li, Sylvester Stallone
Genre:Action/Adventure
Theatrical release date:August 17, 2012

Parents need to know that The Expendables 2 is the sequel to Sylvester Stallone's highest-grossing movie since his Rocky and Rambo sequels in the 1980s. It includes most of the cast from The Expendables -- a round-up of international action stars from the past three decades -- and now includes two more casting coups: Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Like the previous movie, it promises lots of over-the-top action, with plenty of fighting, guns, and explosions, and possibly strong language besides (though supposedly Norris insisted on limiting the cursing so the movie could be rated PG-13 instead of R). Fans of the last movie will very likely want more.
